It's Really Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher a few weeks ago and it is exactly what the sales person said it would be....quiet and very efficient.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had it for about a month and are very satisfied. It's relatively quiet, cleans and dries well. Haven't used all the features yet, but all the ones we've used work very well. Only minor gripe is that the bottom rack will slip off the tracks if you're not careful to pull it straight and slowly with a load of dishes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It cleans pretty good but the racks are so different than my previous KitchenAid. My older one had fold down section in the lower rack and a lot of tines in the upper rack had plastic things that held things in place. I find that wine glasses don't fit well in this unit.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am totally satisfied with this very silent dishwasher. It was my major concern. Congratulations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though not rated the quietest, I never know when it’s running. I always put my hand on the door to feel the very minor vibration! I was told if I didn’t use it daily that it would develop an odor, but I don’t have a problem with that. I simply rinse out the neat filter that lifts out and rinse it out. I didn’t know if I’d use the top rack, but it’s very safe. I’ve cut my hands before when someone put knives in the silverware tray where I did’t usually separate them out. I love my new KitchenAid!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this a little over a week ago, and so far am happy with it. It is very quiet, it gets the dishes clean, and it also gets them dry. (Big difference in the drying, by the way, from using the Rinse Aid product.) I like having the third, top rack for awkward utensils that are either long or plastic (like an ice cream scoop). I don't like, or perhaps am just not yet used to, the greater width of spacing on the main racks. It accommodates large bowls and pots nicely, but in comparison with my previous Kitchenaid dishwasher (bought in 2017) I don't seem to utilize the space as well--even though this model is actually deeper and so more spacious. Plates lean in more deeply than previously, so space is sacrificed that might have accommodated other objects, such as small bowls or cups. I'm still getting the hang of where to position things, though, and this is not a big deal to me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a topnotch appliance, with everything going for it: simple but elegant looks, very quiet, easy to operate and it cleans the best of any major brand appliance we've ever had. The only remaining issue is longevity & I'll check back in a few years to report on that.
