Happy with purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family loves how quiet the Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool dishwasher is. We don't have any extra noise barrier around the outside, except the regular kitchen cabinets. Since it is near our table, we can even run it while eating our meal. Also, the 3rd tray on top level fits neatly above the dishes to provide room for our flatware. It's nice to be able to put the spoons together in a group, so that when emptying it after cleaning, all we have to do is grab them in a group and not have to sort them much. The tray happens to be at the same level as our drawer where we store them, making it very convenient when unloading the dw.
We're still not used to the outside handle to open the door. It is metal/industrial look and doesn't seem to go well with the white dw. Wish the handle wasn't so prominent, and more modern or classic looking.
Overall, we are happy with our purchase.

Quick and Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a good dishwasher; runs quickly and quietly. It would be good if the top utensil rack was a little lower to fit larger spatulas. Also, very easy to accidentally touch the buttons on the top when opening and closing the door.

I think we got the bad one of the bunch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this dishwasher 2 months. The first month it worked great and then for the last month we have had to have the repair service out twice already, and now awaiting a third visit. Each time they have replaced various parts, hoping the problem is fixed. We can then wash for a few days and then the malfunction happens again. This is a brand new house with brand new appliances. This third time they want to replace the floor (bottom of tub components) to see if that will fix the problem. Those parts are on backorder and said it will take a minimum of 2 weeks. So in the 2 months we have had this dishwasher we have been hand washing dishes pretty much the past month in our new house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quieter With Improved Cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher just over a month ago to replace an older KitchenAid dishwasher that finally wore out. This unit is quieter, and appears to have more spraying power. The addition of the thinner upper third level is ideal for cleaning larger knives and stirring spoons without compromising other shelf space. This KitchenAid dishwasher has more than enough cycle options for our needs. There are also several delay features if you want to postpone running the dishwasher until a later time.

Wonderfully quiet, excellent cleaning

It's extremely quiet and cleans exceptionally well. The glassware, pans,Corning ware and silverware look brand new after being washed.

Never worked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well plugged it in and it never worked. I was a dummy and bought it at a Black Friday sale thinking my project was going to go fast. Unboxed it and nothing. Called a tech and he came out and said buy a new one. I was out of warranty.
