[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an existing dishwasher which had a noise rating of 42 dBa; I scored our new Kitchen Aid with 4 Stars as the advertised 39 dBa noise rating sounds slightly louder than our older dishwasher. Everything else is super clean and looks to be well crafted.

Extremely quiet! No pre rinse needed!

I didn't think that the noise of the wash cycle really mattered. But, hey. Wow! This model is is so quiet. I'm also shocked at how well the dishwasher cleans. We've always had to pre rinse with our previous washers.
I will make a recommendation to prospective buyers.Take your large pot or dish with you when you go shopping.
I didn't, and would rather not have the third wash tray at the top. My 5 quart pot and roasting dish do not fit and allow the sprinkler to turn. I believe this is due to the space needed for the top wash tray. For us, that tray is rarely being used.

Choose carefully

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine did not work when delivered. The motor and the pump had to be replaced. I had to take time off work to meet a repair technician two times. It was brand new so I was very disappointed. The second pump didn’t work either and needed a third pump. The machine runs but doesn’t dry. That’s right wet dishes after every cycle. Steer clear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quietest Dishwasher

So quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid dishwasher has so many nicer options than my old Maytag. I love the top drawer for utensils and smaller items. I love the drop option on the middle level for larger plastic bowls and such. It fits so much more than I had before. Lots of wash options. I love it.
