Can't believe how quiet this dishwasher is!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this dishwasher for just over a month and I'm still amazed at the silence when it's running. The dishwasher is great - this is the 3rd dishwasher I've owned and my first KitchenAid. I was drawn to this brand because I chose the KitchenAid range hood after doing a bunch of research for installation during my kitchen remodel 2 years ago. The hood works well and, on the lowest setting, is very quiet, which is a big selling point for me. So, when I did my research this year, looking for a new dishwasher to replace the Kenmore Elite I had for 20 years, I naturally looked at KitchenAid again. I did compare it to comparable other makes of dishwashers, but the customer reviews for this one were almost all very positive, unlike what I read about the the other brands out there. And boy, were the KitchenAid customers right! The first time I ran this dishwasher, I actually opened it up twice to confirm that it was running - it's really that quiet! There is plenty of room for whatever you want to tuck into it and, if you use the top, 3rd shelf, for all your flatware and cooking utensils, you have even more room for dishes and pans because you can take out the utensils basket that normally sits in the lowest shelf. That basket is now living in my basement - I don't need it in this dishwasher. I LOVE the third, top shelf! And everything so far, comes out clean and sparkling - it washes like a dream. I talked this up so much among my friends that one friend came over and took pictures of it and my KitchenAid range hood so that she can order both for her upcoming kitchen remodeling job. Oh - and if you order this, get the towel rack instead of a recessed door handle - that towel rack is a very useful feature in a modern kitchen that often lacks a convenient place by the sink to hang a kitchen towel.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used this dishwasher for one month. We replaced a five year old lg that we were not happy with. It cleans the dishes well and is extremely quiet. I would not know it was on if not for the indicator light. The only thing I would change is to have tines that you can lay flat and the silverware holes vary in size so some silverware does not fit in the holes. So far I love this dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time to replace all our appliances as they were original to the home and the dishwasher had seen better days. I researched many brands but being 2 1/2 months in, I love the KitchenAid brand. Well designed with convenient features such as the silverware rack in addition to the silverware holder. Plus the noise level is slightly above silent. No complaints as of yet but only time will tell.

Quit working!

High-end looks but just so-so Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this washer to replace our 2017 GE and if it wasn't for that washer not working every time we would have never got this "upgraded" washer. Let me say right off the bat this washer only does a so-so job even with all the "pro" settings set engaged. Some dishes I have to run twice and this was never the case in my older GE model. Don't get me wrong this waser is dead quite, but who cares if it at the end of the day dosent proform?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
