Happy with purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family loves how quiet the Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool dishwasher is. We don't have any extra noise barrier around the outside, except the regular kitchen cabinets. Since it is near our table, we can even run it while eating our meal. Also, the 3rd tray on top level fits neatly above the dishes to provide room for our flatware. It's nice to be able to put the spoons together in a group, so that when emptying it after cleaning, all we have to do is grab them in a group and not have to sort them much. The tray happens to be at the same level as our drawer where we store them, making it very convenient when unloading the dw.
We're still not used to the outside handle to open the door. It is metal/industrial look and doesn't seem to go well with the white dw. Wish the handle wasn't so prominent, and more modern or classic looking.
Overall, we are happy with our purchase.

Poor vent design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second dishwasher in a newly built home. The replacement is the same model as the first. When opening the door to unload clean dishes a puddle of water and splashes of water are left on the floor. This water comes from the vent in the door and exists even if I wait overnight before unloading. It presents a danger for slipping and fallin.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced a twenty year old kitchen aid.
The new dishwasher isn’t made as well as older one.
Still working on understanding all the bells and whistles.

All- round great dishwasher

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've had my dishwasher for a few months now and it is great! It's so easy to load, the third rack for utensils means I can take out the utensil tray in the bottom and have more room for bigger dishes! It is so quiet you would never know it's even on.
I would recommend this to a friend!
