4th KitchenAid Dishwasher that I have purchased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In a period of 42 years, this is the 4th KitchenAid dishwasher which I have specified and then installed, two in my prior house in Potomac Falls VA, and two in CA. Hoping that this latest will last another 10 years!

Replacement Appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with the features of the new replacement machine. My only complaint is that the handle protrudes, and I am constantly bumping it. A curved handle (as on the original) is more comfortable for me.

Incredibly quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Features of note: New one is quieter when running. Holds more dishes, upper top tray is useful for added items. Dishes are all clean throughout. The one noticeable difference and question: Normal cycle with heated dry is 3.5 to 4 hours. Previous model 1.5 hours so more than double the time. I cannot find any information about the amount of water or energy required for this "normal cycle". I question how efficient it is compared to models of 5-10 years ago. Why isn't this published?
