Outer panel is rusting

We were very happy with this dishwasher - it's so quiet that you don't even know it's running. After using it for 10 months we noticed that there were small spots of rust forming around the top vent. We contacted our salesman and Kitchenaid and were told that it's not covered under warranty because it's cosmetic. Very disappointed in customer service not standing behind their product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the dishwasher, very quiet, only problem after having it 2 months we had a puddle of water on the floor in front of the dishwasher, where we bought it said to raise the front of the dishwasher up a little. Very odd it didn't leak any water at all for the length of time we had it then suddenly there was water. Time will tell if that solves the problem
