Best thing ever. My husband is a veteran helicopter pilot, and after one year waking up to incoming mortar fire and other combat alarms, he understandable wakes immediately to noises during sleep. His old device has gone soft over the years, but I could not find an adequate replacement until I found this product. Our nights have been much more peaceful, with fewer startle awakenings since receiving our machine.

The BEST!

This sound machine is THE BEST! I've tried others and ended up returning them because of the poor sound quality. They actually made me sleep less! During the winter months, we've been using the humidifier as white noise for our baby girl, but once the weather broke I knew I had to find something new. I googled “best sound machine” and the Dohm was highly rated! I am so glad I gave it a shot. I turned it on as soon as I took it out the box and was blown away!!!! I couldn't believe how pure the sound was!! Now I want to get the portable one to use in the car. Thank you for making such a high quality product!! This will forever be my go-to baby shower gift.

Constant rattling

This is not worth the price considering the constant plasticy rattle it gives off. I barely

I own the same machine from several years past. I decided to purchase a new one as a backup. To my surprise the machine has been changed. The wattage and voltage is completely different. It's lower. The low setting on this machine is so low you can't hear it. They sent another one. It was the same thing. as much as I would have loved to have the same as what I already own. I couldn't go with the new replacement.

I have not used this a lot because my husband hates how loud it is even on low. There is not a real noticeable difference between high to low, at least for me. I wish it could go a little lower. If I turn it on, my husband usually gets up at some point and turns it off, which usually wakes me up. But It does really help me initially fall asleep and with tinnitus.

I was impressed with this sound machine for the price - it's a good basic model that delivers on it's promise: producing an authentic fan sound that can be adjusted from soft to fairly loud. It didn't help for my specific problem - my yowling cat w/dementia right outside my BR door was still too loud. But if you live in an apt. and can hear your neighbor's TV or you have some annoying street noise, it would be very helpful. I was also impressed that they refunded my money with no questions, even though I did a sloppy job with the return packaging.
