Perfect for city noise.

I live on a bustling street in Brooklyn. My window faces the street, so I hear a lot of vehicular noise and people coming it if the bars nearby. This device is the perfect solution to drowning out anything that might otherwise keep me awake. It even worked on NYE when there were plenty of partygoers and fireworks.
The sound is pleasant and not particularly noticeable. I had it on the low setting and a guest had no idea it was even on until I pointed it out. Highly recommend.

Very Happy, but People w/Sensory Issues May Have Some Qualms

At first, because it was a different sound than I am used to, I wasn't sure it would work. However the first night I slept like a baby. It's not 100% because I have sound sensory issues and the pitch is a bit high, so occasionally- but rarely- I resort to the floor fan.
Now, the first unit I got had some mechanical issues but they replaced the unit right away and paid to have the malfunctioning one returned. Totally worth it.

I had no hope that

I had no hope that this sound machine would drown out the excessive nighttime noise from the very loud tavern across the street, but I had to try something. Even as I turned the Dohm on the first night, I thought the machine was too loud to ever sleep with it running. Boy was I wrong! It was the best night of sleep I had had in a year. This little machine has saved my sanity. I use it every night and if I forget to turn it on, I regret it. Thank you Yoga Sleep.

Best sleep purchase we've made!

We just bought the Dohm classic and absolutely love it. Prior to the Dohm, we were using an app that had soundtracks to pick from. Each of us found it was distracting and not super helpful for sleep , the Dohm creates true white noise for the best sleeping experience. We love turning it on as part of our nightly ritual/setting and have seen how it helps us to sleep more soundly in any environment every night. Highly would recommend for baby, kids, adults!

It is not loud enough

It is not loud enough and can't make other choices for sounds. It's not what I wanted. I needed the sound to be louder to drown out hubby's snoring.

So worth it! The best sound machine!

This sound machine is the best one yet! We have tried other machines, and this one has the best sound by far. My little one is sensitive to sound machines and the various sounds they make, and because she sleeps so well to a regular fan, we love that this is fan/based and almost as loud as her regular fan. This is a great solution for us since it is winter time now and not suitable to use a regular fan. I am also a sleep consultant and recommend this particular sound machine to clients. It's worth it!

I'm currently pregnant and purchased this sound machine in anticipation of Baby's arrival. This brand came highly recommend from a friend. Baby isn't due for another month or so, but I started using it to make sure I was used to it when baby arrives. I've noticed an improvement in my sleep! I had been having increasing difficulty with waking many times to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep for an hour or more. Now, since using the machine nightly, after I wake up to use the bathroom, I easily fall back asleep! I'm looking forward to using it after Baby arrived as well. I have been reading about how sound machines are lifesavers in the Happiest Baby books.

Real. Fan. Noise. Since 1962!

I bought a 3-pack of these to use throughout the house (home office, bedrooms) and I am pleased with the results. Initially it was to mask my snoring to save my wife, now it's provided needed sound blocking for everyone's peace of mind in the house. Personally, my ears are sensitive to the digital white noise machines and I really like that these are real fan sounds not digital. They feel calmer to the ear if that makes any sense?
