I purchased this barzelonia round fire pit 4 weeks ago and used it almost every night. It works great and matches perfect with my patio decorations.

The Barzelonia fire pit just arrived today, and it is pretty impressive. The steel support is nicely made, but since it keeps the fire bowl so close to the ground, it will need stone or some inflammable material beneath it. The fire bowl is copper colored steel and seems quite sturdy. There are a couple of nice features. It includes drain holes in the bottom so water can escape, and they are covered over by a triangular "tent" of steel to stop embers from falling out the bottom. Also, the top outer edge is rolled over and is not sharp. The handle will have to be attached to the spark cover (to save space in shipping), and it will be very hot, of course, so there is an included cover lifting tool that is necessary. One minor problem is that the cover lifting tool was not secured in the box, and so it slid along the fire bowl and scratched it a bit. Also, in order to save shipping space, the outer rim touches the box edges, and it appeared that my box was dropped at some point, since the edge was slightly bent. But, since it is steel, a few taps with a rubber mallet straightened it out easily. It seems like an excellent product for the money. I haven't had a chance to test it out yet, but with such a simple, straightforward design, I don't see how it can go wrong.

decent fire pit for the price

I wasn't sure if we would use a fire pit all the much, so was looking for one that wouldn't cost too much. This one has so far held up reasonably well. When we got it, there was a small area where the paint wasn't properly applied, but so far the paint has otherwise held up after 3 or 4 uses. I don't think it will last forever, but hopefully for at least 2 or 3 more seasons.

I just got it all put together. Even though it is 69 degrees in Tyler, TX, I am still thinking of loading it with fire wood to start the fall off right.

What a firepit

Absolutely blown away by how much of a firepit this firepit is. I put wood in it, light it, and there's a fire. And get this, it's WARM. The first time it happened I was absolutely shook but now I kind of expect it. It doesn't come with fire, which is a bit misleading since it's called a FIREpit but I found out you can actually make your own. All in all, this a five star pit. I rate it 5 stars. 5* WOOO
