I gave the product 5 stars for the intended use. The smell was great and it did a wonderful cover-up. However, we had difficulty using the product as it didn't want to spray properly from an 'almost upside-down' position as the liquid was being used up. We had to get down very low to try to keep the spray bottle almost level to have it spray correctly. A bottle that would spray in a position where the top of the bottle is lower would be the best option. It's also a great size to take on overnight or short trips where one or two people are in a small space...hotel room, for example. Great product.

I love Poo-Pourri. It is fantastic for covering up odors in the bathroom while doing your business. What I don't like is the fact that the bottle doesn't spray when tilted. When the bottle gets less than 1/2 full you still need to hold it upright in order for it to spray. It's gross to have to almost stick your whole hand down in the toilet in order to get it to spray inside on the water surface. An improved design where the bottle would still spray while being held upside down would be great.

Biggest problem is the spray

Biggest problem is the spray mechanism. Once a portion of the product has been used, it is difficult to get the spray out of the bottle unless the bottle is held in a vertical position. But to spray inside the bowl, the bottle must be horizontal. I am not sure that it will be possible to use the entire contents of the bottle.

Right, no one talks about poo. I work in a secondary school. The staff toilets are basic. I have a chronic bowel disease. ...and now.....I have no more embarrassment!! This stuff ACTUALLY works. I have an Ileostomy ( a bag that collects my poo) that has to be emptied. It smells BAD. really BAD. But now, I feel confident to use not only the toilets at work but public toilets too. Imagine, you are at the theatre/a gig/ festival and the queue for the ladies is loooooong. This means, someone is going into the toilet immediately after you have flushed. I can't tell you number of times I have seen someone walk into the cubicle and walk out again .....so embarrassing! ha! No more!!! POO POURRI.......I LOVE YOU!!!!

Poo-Pourri is amazing! Please picture this. We live in the a small cabin in the mountains. It‚Äôs cozy and sweet. It‚Äôs just my husband and I. You can see every room from the couch. Maybe 1000 square feet. We always had that problem. The ü§¢ face. Comments ‚ÄúSHUT THE DOOR‚Äù ! My hubby had that super stinky problem. Christmas time when all 6 of our kids and their families would gather on the living room floor and hubby heads into that special private room after eating a ton of pizza. 10 grand kids playing with toys on the floor, NOOOOOOO. You can only imagine! Poo-pourii saved our lives and the Embarrassment! No more worries when friend or family come over. Even the dogs are happier! Thank you poo-pourri!!

Use at Home and the Office

Years ago I started using Poopourri at home during play group. Now that my kids are grown and I’m at work every day, I buy enough to keep my office stocked also! I am a true blue long time loyal believer!!!!!

I work at a business where the average age of both staff and clientele is 60+. I'd say our two restrooms are visited at least 20 - 30 times a day, and some of those are longer stays, if you get my meaning. We've always kept air "freshener" in there, but often that just doesn't help, and certainly not quickly.
I happened upon single tiny bottles of this product at a discount, took them to work and installed them, hoping people would get the hint, and it worked! What a game changer! Same at home. We're all completely hooked. I just ordered my first refill bottle of original citrus, but I can't wait to experiment with other scents and products as well.
