Laptop keeps freezing, support just hangs up on me even when I purchased premium support. The only way to get the laptop to boot again is to drain the battery and then insert a paper clip into the reset hole.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery life sucks

Greatly disappointed. I waited for months for this new version. It shows 12 to 15 hours of battery life which is impossible. One basic app running, decreased screen brightness and I maybe get less than 4 hours. I'm very disappointed and will be sending this machine back.
Lots of horsepower which is perhaps why it runs warm (35'C) all the time. Nice design and solid laptop. However the system locks up (crash) every three days - overnight. Frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Also, for overheating, we recommend making sure that your machine is kept clean as well as ensuring that it is kept in the right place so that airflow is not restricted.
Ordered this model laptop specifically because it was LTE compatible and was shipped without a SIM card slot. Support has be difficult to deal with, response time extremely slow.

I have the Thinkpad branded dock and every time that I wake up my machine, I have to wait for 30-100 seconds of just screens turning on and off over and over. Sometimes to work around it I go into display settings, turn off one of my display outputs for a couple seconds and turn it back on.
The camera is pretty poor and my screen flashes sometimes!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

In the last few years I have gone through alot of computers which were all high end. However this one stood out to me because of its good build quality. My only complaint is that the graphics card doesn't kick in as early as it should be. In addition, once in a blue moon the screen will flicker for a second or so. I am using this computer as an engineering student so I hope you can image the heavy use I have with this computer.
