Family popcorn machine

Orville Popcorn Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The popcorn is easy to make. Popcorn maker pops popcorn quickly, in about 2-3 minutes. You can melt butter onto the popcorn using slits on top of the popcorn maker. Butter takes longer to melt, about 8 minutes. Easy to serve. If you turn the popcorn maker over, the plastic covering can function as a bowl.

Tough chewy popcorn and doesn't pop well

We bought this popper in December 2025 and have used it three times with disappointing results every time. The first time we followed the instructions, the next time we added more oil, and the third time we preheated and added more oil. Same result every time: tough chewy popcorn and so many unpopped "duds." We are returning it to the store tomorrow.
