I was excited to get the unit but was certainly skeptical of some of the reviews posted here. One even states that it heated a garage from 40 to 78 in ten minutes. I have a fully insulated two car garage just under 500 sf. On a 50 degree day, I ran the unit for 1 hour and the temp in the garage went from 51 to 54 degrees. I either have a defective unit or the reviews being posted are less than accurate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heats well

Received about two weeks ago. Haven't rum it much. As it gets colder I will put it to the test. Trial runwise, it seems to do ok. A little noisy. It's a bare minimum design, so I think I can expect the noise.

I have had this heater for 2 months and it heats my 300 square foot garage with no insulation without a problem. I live in a very cold area so this thing is a life saver!!

Heater is used in 2 car partially insulated garage that has a ceiling. During 40 degree weather, the garage warms quickly to 70 degrees. Heater is compact and fits on shelf when not in use. Very nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Settings has to be reset after power outage

I have to return heater (unused) because the company’s tech support told me that when there is a power outage, the programmed settings of the heater has to be reset. For my application, that would spell disaster as I bought it to heat my greenhouse. I do not want to have my plants freeze if there is a power outage while I’m not home.
