This is a great little heater. I've have it running in my garage here in Minnesota all week, to be fair it did take a little while for it to bring the temp up in my garage but once it did it has maintained it no problem, Its actually a little under powered for the size of my garage but it has been holding its own in temps ranging from mid 20's to high 30's and I have been able to spend time out here in a light flannel or even a tshirt on some days... Will it work in Sub Zero Minnesota temps? I don't know but its definitely doing its job in late fall/early winter temps. I do have the Newair 2 in 1 240v Garage heater as well and I need to run an outlet in my garage/man cave for that, I know that one will keep me nice and comfortable throughout the super cold months for sure...at least it should. I recommend this heater especially if you have a smaller garage or work shop that you need to heat, its light weight and portable, fairly quiet,and it has a thermostat so its not running wide open constantly which helps on the power bill.

just purchased a remanufactured unit and am impressed by it's condition.Looks NEW and works perfectly to keep a small green house a good temp for tropical plants here in Tenn.Using a thermostatic plug to make it an automatic on/off..Very pleased with my purchase.

Great for heating a garage or large indoor space

I am a car person, so you'll find me working on one project or another year round. Previously, I've used a large propane heater to try to keep the garage warm when out there, but there are a lot of downsides to that. You have to keep your garage cracked a bit to keep the carbon monoxide from building up (which kind of defeats the purpose). You also have to use propane, which costs money and burns up fast in one of these heaters. It also took up a ton of space between the heater and the propane and you couldn't get anywhere near it because of the open flame. So, when I saw this thing, I had to have it. I would probably prefer the 240v hardwired units as I think those would put out even more heat, but I didn't want to have to deal with the added expense of having an electrician out to wire it up. This one just plugs into my normal wall socket and blasts out heat. For a large garage, this won't heat the whole thing likely, but because of it's small size, you can put it under the vehicle, blowing right on your and heating the area that you're in and it works great for that. Overall, I'm really happy with it, especially for the cost. Great little heater!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks nice. Seems sturdy. I like the tilting option. The fan strength is very, very weak. Heat is fine but if you have to stand practically right on top of it to get warm then it's not much of a heater is it?
