Super fun set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter had been building Legos since she was 4 years old. She had so much fun building this. It took her about 1.5 hour to build. The details on this set is great. She particularly like the game room since she loves to play video games and there is a cool video game controller and tv. Now she wanted to get the other sets that comes with it so she can build the city. Great set!

So Much Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children LOVE playing with Legos. They literally wake up and go straight to Legos. This family house pack was the PERFECT addition for them. They loved all the intricate details that came with it. There was a gaming system, laundry machines, and they got a kick out of the dog poop. I would highly recommend this set to anyone and look forward to expansion sets like this one.

Nice set for a child

I bought and built this set relatively early in my adult Lego building phase. I hadn't at that point realized that the back part of the house is completely open, which I've since learned, is to enable kids to move the minifigs in, out and around the house easily. That being the case, it's a great set. It's got a lot of detail (including a nice bathroom and a TV in a lounge room), a good number of minifigs and a lot of potential for making up stories about the family and their house. I even liked the architecture of the house which I read as being compatible with mid-century modern to early 2000's design.
That said, for an adult builder, this might not be completely satisfying. I found myself wishing that the back of the house was included and maybe even some doors between rooms. The real problem that I see is that there really is a limited middle ground between the City sets and the modular building sets. The latter, while a lot of fun to build as an adult, are not really all that easily played with - one has to be careful when removing one floor from another, and even then creating a narrative is tough. It may be that the Ninjago City Gardens set might be a kind of middle ground but I've noticed the back parts of the various stores on that set are not finished either. Perhaps this is an opportunity for the Lego Group to develop another line...please, pretty please?

Great set!

My kids love this set, especially when the set comes with road plates ( they love road plates). The only small complaint is that is that the paintbrush piece has an unreliable storage area (keeps falling out when moved\being moved). Other than that they love it.

My kids loved this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved this build project. It was fairly easy for them to complete together. Along with the two of my children, it took them just a few hours to complete. It was the perfect rainy day project. My kids still have it together and are still enjoying playing with it. It is easy to customize and change around to whatever they desire.
I thought that it was really cool that it is a eco friendly home. Like a lot of homes today, it has solar panels, EV and charger. It even comes with its own family and pet! Along with a bunch of other accessories to make the house complete and fun to play with. It has a modern and trendy look to it.
I do like that this set comes with the app. It helps the children with building, storylines and more. I think it adds more play time to the set so that they will get more use out of the set. Rather than just building it and being done with it, the app gives them ideas and other ways of constructing other builds with lego sets. Plus it's so easy to accidently lose the printed instruction sheet. The app is always going to be there for backup if it does get lost or damaged.
Overall, this is a great lego set! My kids loved putting it together and are still enjoying playing with it. It is a great way for little ones to pretend play everyday family life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old son and 14 year old daughter enjoyed doing this set together. There aren't many things that they can enjoy together with the age gap, but Legos are so universal that they always bring them together for some building fun!
