Daughters Favorite Toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this to give as a gift for my 6 year old for Christmas and my daughter loves it. It didn't take that long to put it together. It's playable and the color is so bright and love all the details. My daughter always reaches for this to play with. The characters are so cool.

FUN

He had so much fun figuring out what pieces go where. Great STEM while having tons of fun. I enjoyed building and playing with him. This is a great set for hours of play after built.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved putting this set together and then pretending! We probably spent about 20 minutes setting it up (my fault because I was distracted). Then over an hour playing! Legos are so fun and I look forward to playing with additional sets!

Great Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We gave this Lego set to my 7-year-old son for Christmas this year. Upon opening, he immediately starting to dig in. The set is not difficult to build. Of course, my son started with the car and moved from there. My favorite part is all of the little details.

Fun and challenging!

It does take time and patience since there are so many parts but it was a lot of fun! Directions are easy to follow and my son enjoyed playing with it once built. Makes for a great gift for a boy or girl and makes a wonderful family project!

Very Detailed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the Shopping Street by LEGO. My daughters ages 12 and 9 have legos but never a set like this one. They've had simple sets and just packages of assortment of legos. This set is really detailed. Right down to the stripe on the car to the crosswalk the road plates, to the glow in the dark street lights and so on. It comes with 533 pieces. I know the age it suggest is 6+, that age is good but i would also advise having an adult help them with the set up. Just because of the amount of pieces. The city has connectors that can be connected to other lego sets. That way you can make a great big setup. I think some parents will love this as much as the kids do. It took a few hours to get it all set up. It also has realistic features of the people, cars and foods. This will provide hours of imaginary play for my girls.

Fun times for my girls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Lego City shopping street complimentary for testing purposes. This was a perfect for my two daughters ages 6 and 10 to share and have some bonding time. They don’t enjoy the same things due to the gap in age but this was great for them to do together. The booklet is easy for both to follow in order to make the build. My 6 year old enjoyed making the vehicles the most and loves all the lego people. The 10 year old liked putting together the shops. Her favorite is the pretzel cafe. There is also a bike shop and outdoor fitness area. We all think the glow in the dark pieces for the street lamps is supper cool. So many little attentions to detail in all the pieces! I love that this connects to other sets. We look forward to finding other cities to build and attach.

Awesome set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my 6 year old daughter seeing as it is 6+ rated. She can usually do most sets with some help. She was able to do the whole set by herself without too much difficulty. It did take some time to complete probably about 2 hours split up between a few different times.
