Nostalgia

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun set for an 80’s kid like me. Of course, I struggled with the black page instructions like usual (blue only, please!). Great to see all my favorite characters as mini figures. One complaint I did not get a Dorothy the goldfish piece for the Elmo apartment. Instead it was a plain clear piece. Still unable to order a replacement piece on the Lego site.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great design

I loved building this set and I adore the way it looks completed. However, I wish the instruction booklet was printed in white because the black background makes it hard to see some of the pieces.

This set was a delightful build. Very colorful with lots of details, I am a 69 year old grandmother whose grandsons got me hooked on legos several years ago. I have had a few sets that had the black pages which are almost impossible to read with failing eyesight. I missed seeing a dark brown piece in one step. Please get rid of the black pages!! Glossy and black about made decide I had to get a new hobby. I did the home alone one and it was a great build too!

Colorful and fun

I didn’t know Lego made 18+ legos. I’m so happy I made this discovery at my local Lego store. Sesame Street Lego set was fun to build, detailed, and colorful. It reminds me of my childhood. I allow my 4 year old son to carefully play with the set with the little characters it comes with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simple build only took an hour or so. Love all the different areas for characters to go, but every time I go to move something or adjust a piece, something pops off. Great way to reminisce childhood memories or even build new ones with the little ones.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Difficult build

Love the set but there are some issues with building it. One- the base, not strong enough. Continues to break apart when building. I need to raid my son's Lego to improve the base. Two- the black pages in the instruction book. Not helpful with dark pieces. Hard to see what you need to do. Three- where is grover?
Overall a great set just not fun to build. I'm in the process of rebuilding since it fell apart when I moved it. It's the base!

Fun with my 4 year old

First time Dad had to get his child into Lego young. Duplo, and now 4 year old beginner Lego sets, why not Sesame Street!
We love the minifigures, and the build is colorful and fun.
Who will be the next Lego Sesame Street character? Or what Sesame Street build set is next? We are anxiously waiting Lego we would like more!
Definite recommend to all those parents who children enjoy Sesame Street. Get it for your children, it's a blast from the past for the parent builder. Also a new beginning for your child. Can't believe Lego and Sesame Street has been around longer than my 41 year old self.

Great Set!

Whilst I am not a lego enthusiast I am a collector of Sesame Street products. Aside from a dent in my box, this product arrived in stellar condition. At first, when I saw the massive instruction booklet I was extremely nervous as I would describe myself as a beginner builder. However, the way the instructions were broken up into parts made the assembly process very easy. The booklet featured information about Sesame Workshop in English, Spanish, and French. Additionally, all the instructions were pictures, making it friendly to consumers from many different backgrounds. The end product turned out great! I used the Minifigures in the complementary lego set to act as the live-action characters! Overall I am very satisfied with my purchese and would recomend this product.
