Great set

This is a really amazing and detailed set, Ive always loved sesame street and now having it as lego I love it even more. The choice of characters is really great and I hope lego continues with more characters and buildings! :)

First Lego set that was a bit of a let down.....

First the bad:
Why would Lego decide to print the instruction book on black background paper? The booklet was not the easiest to read especially in low light. Next, I was really hoping for a bigger set (similar to the Ghostbusters HQ) as that is what the original Ideas set looked like. And they could have easily included Slimey the worm!

Now the good.
Lego did a fantastic job on the characters. The size, the colors - all of them were done perfectly!!!! I also like the corner design to include Mr. Hooper's store - that was a nice touch.

All in all, a fun build and a great value on a great set but it did leave me wanting a little bit more like the one on the Ideas site! I hope more characters are released in the future (The Count and Snuffy!!!)

Had a blast, instructions were a bit confusing

I have not owned a Lego set since ca. 1993. This was the perfect set for getting back into the game. The level of detail is amazing and I shook my head at each new surprise that came my way during the build. As others have said, the instructions were slightly problematic - the black pages made some pieces difficult to see, and some of the pieces were colored differently from how they actually appear. Other than that, well done Lego.

Please produce more Sesame Street lego sets!!

Purchased this for my 6 year old daughter who is a huge Sesame Street fan. We had so much fun putting it together! She was able to put together about half without my help. She is pretty new to Lego, but this set has really sparked her interest in Lego and she wants to build more sets with me. PLEASE make more Sesame Street sets and mini sets and mini figures. We would love to add to our Sesame Street set!

Awesome, fun and colorful. No repetitive steps, clever use for small rooms furnishings and connections. Designers showed their love for this project. The tech pin holes seem to hint at a future expansion in the future. Lots of stickers but understandable to keep the price reasonable. Easy to apply with the window cleaner trick. The Muppets are priceless, Jim Henson would approve, "Easter eggs" galore. Get it, well worth the fun and end result.

The set looks amazing, and the techniques used are very good which makes the building experience great.
Not only that, but this set also comes with lots of cool pieces.
It is accurately filled with both details and play features everyone will enjoy.
I have always dislike stickers preferring printed pieces, but in this set stickers did not matter that much because they were really cool.

How could you go wrong with sesame st.

This one was the first set I have built in quite some time. Have it displayed in a glass cube with a hue go light shining down upon it. I do feel they could have included 2-3 more characters, being that you cannot get any others from your mini figure collections. I also feel Lego was stingy with the amount of masonry bricks they used.

Great build, VERY playable

Got this set as a decoration for my youngest son's first birthday party (he loves the Sesame St. puppets). Great build, tons of color and clever pieces, Easter eggs & accessories were a lot of fun.
During/after the party, the set was basically taken over by my older son. At 3.5 years, he loves to watch Sesame St. as well, knows the characters, etc. Playability of this set has been huge for him; he'll spend literally hours at the table playing with it. However, it's a lot of small pieces for a little kid to handle. He definitely seems like the target audience, but drops/loses pieces constantly because there's a LOT going on in this set. I guess that's my only beef with this set, is I'm not sure who the target really is. But we'll keep playing and picking up pieces, because it really is a lot of fun!
