Nice minifigs, dull set

Missing three pieces. Built with my young kids. The build is definitely not an 18+ skill, easier. The build was not particularly exciting. Some odd design choices.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Common Lego Set

*Sigh* another set of legos that suggested it would take 18+ years to complete, yet I complete in under 3 hours. I havent been challenged since age 4 and I'm 35 and a half now. Known as a "garbage find" amongst expert builders, this set will leave you wanting more.

Boring build + missing pieces

Like other reviewers, my main problem with this is that the 18+ age rating seems ridiculous given the theme and the ease of this building.
After waiting for this to come back in stock then waiting for my back ordered order to ship, I was so excited to build this, but my excitement faded quickly. I’m only on the third set of bags and already have two pieces missing. The first I managed to replace with my stash of spares but the other piece I had to order. I can only imagine how many pieces I’ll be missing in total, since I can’t continue the build without this piece. I’m not sure if this is because of low quality control and trying to get back orders out quickly for the holidays, but sometimes slow is better so that the sets are actually complete.

Great set!!!

I was very excited to build this set. I thought it was a fun build because I watched Sesame Street in the past and it brought back memories. The minifigures are amazing and very detailed. Overall, this is a detailed set and captures the magic of Sesame Street.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Such a cute set

I really enjoyed building this one!! So much nostalgia from my childhood and my grandchildren are going to love to come over and play with this.
I think we are going to see more sets because on the side of hoopers store are connectors....one can only dream!
I am hoping to see more figures in the future :)

CHILDHOOD MUST NEED

OH MY G*D! THIS SET IS LITERALLY MY CHILDHOOD. I MYSELF GREW UP WATCHING SEASAME STREET AND HAVING THIS ON MY DESK IS MINDBLOWING. The attention to detail on this set is amazing. I would've bought this set even if it were 200 dollars because this set is just worth it. The set itself is amazingly detailed from little things like Elmo's room to Bernie and Barts.
I have to say though that I'm very disappointed that some of the Minifigure legs are immovable but it makes sense because that way some are taller. Cookie Monster is absolutely beautiful I would've preferred to have his cookies be more than stud.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Colorful and playful

On one hand I love the colors and how this set came together. On the other, I was sad the Count had a space in the set, however no mini figure. I was also irritated with a couple steps in the instructions where you couldn't see which way a piece with notches in it's sides was supposed to face. I was able to look several pages forward in the instructions to see a different angle, though still a weird oversight. Overall I did enjoy building the set and think it's pretty cute.

First big Lego purchase for myself! I love the show and I grew up watching Sesame Street, so I got this for nostalgia and fun. The attention to detail is amazing, and I love the hidden easter eggs within the set (Guy Smiley on TV, the clock in Bert and Ernies room, etc) and some modern references (Cookie and Gonger's food truck picture, Abby's flower garden). The only complaint would be that Hoppers store wasn't bigger as the counter could have been added and more details added (this really isn't a complaint, I just want more of the set). I wasn't missing any pieces either. This set made me feel like I finally got to Sesame Street.
I would recommend this to a friend!
