So cool

I love the little Easter eggs hidden around, like the paper clip box. I love how unlike many other sets there aren’t many repeated steps. The way different pieces are used to make objects, like the flower bed and the actual beds, are so creative and cool. It was interesting because two pieces that had pictures printed onto them were different than the ones on the box and in the instructions. The wood panel was different and the milk carton had a picture of a glass of milk instead of a cow. Doesn’t matter to me I just find that very interesting.

I Smiled Through the Whole Build - Loved It

Although I’ve gifted Lego many times before, this is the first time I’ve purchased a Lego set for myself. I thought it would be a fun alternative to doing a jigsaw puzzle. I grew up watching the original years of Sesame Street and I couldn’t get over how much detail went into the design of this kit! It brought back so many great memories. The instruction booklet was easy to follow for each sequence. The product quality was awesome, especially the detail put into the characters. This kit brought me so much nostalgic joy. Thanks to the person who submitted this idea and fingers crossed for an anniversary line-up of extra characters; Kermit (news reporter), Grover (waiter) were the ones I missed most but there were so many others, many of which made it into the sticker sequences as a nice alternative! Very well done.

Love this set, cute minifigs and love the little details that Sesame Street fans will pick up on. A very fun build. Only con....NO GROVER! That’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

Instruction book has some room to improve
on June 29, 2021

I always enjoy working on those hard-to-find advanced sets. Compared to those, this set is considered very simple to put together. However the instruction book is a pain to read. Since there are dark-colored pieces, the black background of the instruction book make them almost invisible. I also have to agree with some other reviewers--when my little kid tried to help, she also had problem when some angles were missing from the instruction book. I would've given this a five star because this is such a cute set.

We're sorry for any disappointment in your 123 Sesame Street set. That's not the experience we want for our customers and fans. The good news is we're already working on moving away from the dark background in our building instructions. We don't have a timeframe just yet, but it's happening!

The best set I've ever put together - pure joy.

First, I want to say *thank you* and *wow* to Ivan Guerrero, Ollie Gregory, and Crystal Marie Fontan, the designers of this set, and I really hope they see this review, so I can pass that thanks along! "123 Sesame Street" is absolutely wonderful and helped me find calm and joy over a really tough week. As a struggling artist during a hard stretch, this was the best investment of money I've made in ages. : )
Of course it's fun, and that can be seen in the pictures, but I want to say this set is so much more than that. It was the most fun set I have ever assembled.
It's happy, it's calming, and it's so well-designed. Again, not just the end outcome (which is fun and fun to play with!) but also all the little details. And they managed to do it in a set that really needed to have a lot of tan blocks, yet every step felt exciting. So impressive. The extra touches like the little curtain that tilts. The vintage nods throughout the set (colors, devices, architecture) while keeping it modern. Standard lego blocks and joints were used in so many unexpected ways, including practical pieces as decoration and decorative pieces to be something other than their original intent. There is a clever playfulness of how this set was put together. Every step was intentional, designed to be fun to put together and full of surprises. Even things like bed assembly felt like making and layering sheets on a bed. The pops of color. The artistic touches. Slimey! Yay, Slimey!
Truly, this was the best designed and most fun set I've ever put together. I wished it could have lasted forever! Now, if this team would do Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, I would attain a state of pure existence. : )
