Very cool and fun truck!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really enjoys playing with this Monster Jam Max-D. It took my husband (son's father) and my son about 3-4 hours to build this toy from the first step to the last step. They said it was difficult to build even though they had and followed the directions very well. There is a lot of pieces to this truck, which made it difficult to build it.
After the truck was built, my son has had so much fun playing with it. He loves the pull-back feature of the truck because he pulls it back and let's it go and it goes by itself for a good amount of time.
The colors and features of the truck are very fun and cool. It comes with stickers that both my son and husband put on the truck.
Besides it taking a few hours to build it as the only downfall, everything else is a positive with the truck. It keeps my son's attention for a long time and it is his favorite toy.

Challenging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my nephew because he loves to build things out of Lego and save them as collectors and also loves monster trucks so I felt he would love this one. The truck was pretty challenging getting put together but doing it as a family was amazing also! I highly recommend to anyone that love building with Lego but also keep in mind these are little bitty pieces and should not be for toddler's!

keeps kids busy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this LEGO® Technic™ Monster Jam® Max-D toy building kit for my 15 year old son who collects Lego. He even at his age, he seems to enjoy it. It must be a little advanced if it can hold his attention. This toy is a 2 in 1 toy. After building the truck, you can take it apart and build a pull-back quad bike. The graphics are pretty cool and the truck looks like the real thing. The best part is that none of this requires a power source.

I can’t say enough about the Monster Jam sets!! Max-D was our first set. I built it for my son, he’s four. We have sooo much fun playing with these trucks!! Racing, obstacles, jumping off ramps, just endless fun. Totally worth the price and more!!

It has been a long time since I built a Lego set, but I never built a Lego Technic set. I fell in love with Technic! it seems that's all I can say, but you guys are doing such a good job at coming out with new sets that blow my mind!

Hours of Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My eleven year old Grandson really enjoyed building his Monster Jam Max-D truck. Was easy for him to build with the very clear instructions. He also enjoys the pull back feature and has given it a prominent in his room when he's not playing with it. He's always enjoyed Lego kits and this one did not dissapoint.

Great family fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy that something I loved to do as a kid is also something my son likes to do. Of course the builds are a bit more sophisticated than in my day but still fun. He feels accomplished after having followed directions and taking raw materials and turning it into a masterpiece. I know the age says 7plus and my son is 8 and found it a bit challenging to do on his own, but together we finished it in about a half hour or so. He finds it really “awesome” and loves making it pull back and go. He loved the stickers. A lot of tiny pieces even by Lego standards. All in all a lot of fun and it still keeps him entertained.

Lots of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I had a lot of fun putting this together. Well, he basically did everything himself and I watched. He was super excited putting everything together. It was not too hard for him to build this himself. It took him about 40 minutes. He is 11 years old. He had a blast and so did I. I highly recommend this set.
