94 Year Old Grandmother enjoyed the build

Got this for my 94 year old grandmother and I to do together. Mickey and Minnie came out a year after she was born and she enjoyed reminiscing while building. Banjo for Mickey, flowers for Minnie, camera and photo album were a nice touch.

Very cool build

This lego set was very fun to build. It is challenging mainly because it is tricky to get everything put together without parts falling off. The heads are very heavy, so to move around I removed the head. This is the first Lego set where I was really tempted to try some glue on the feet, but I got it assembled without. To move around i suggest taking off the heads. I love the opposible thumbs. I did not try to have Mickey hold the Ukelele as it seemed it might not stay balanced.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super-cute when done, but missing pieces

Like many people are saying, this set is super-cute. In fact, my wife helped build some of the accessories and she's not a Lego builder!
I would love to see more Disney (and Pixar) characters in this style of Lego sets. I second (or third) the vote for a Lego set of Woody and Buzz, from Toy Story.

I've built the Disney Castle, UCE Tie Fighter, UCE Millennium Falcon. This set was more fun than the TIE Fighter and Falcon and as much fun as the Disney Castle. In fact, I need to build the Castle again so it can be displayed between Mickey and Minnie!
However, the set was missing two 1x8 plate pieces, which connect the nose to the head! This isn't a case of me not seeing a piece, since a 1x8 plate is hard to miss, especially when I'm building the set on a white table. Yes, I ordered replacement pieces, but waiting for them to arrive would have stopped the build process. I had to dig through another Lego set and find the pieces so I could connect the nose and finish the set.
I had trouble with some steps because the instructions are on black paper, which sometimes made it hard to see the dark brown and dark blue pieces. I wish the instructions were printed on white paper, like other sets.
After reading the description, I'm confused.
"Fully posable figures". Did I do something wrong, because only the hands and thumbs on my models are poseable- the arms and head are locked in place and don't turn.
"Change their expression with interchangeable eye elements"? My set came with 2 eye/ forehead elements: one with eyebrows (Minnie) and one without (Mickey). I also didn't see any way to change this element since it's specifically made for this set.
However, I understand that these are figures meant to be displayed and they have limited playability.

A Beautiful Display Piece

As both a Disney and Lego fan, this set was a must-have from the moment I saw it. After having finished the build, I must say that they are a perfect size, with great details. My only complaint is that they are a bit unstable and scary to move, but since you have to do that basically once, it is not that much of an issue. I have now given them the prime spot in the living room, giving it a great atmosphere. I would love if more of these kinds of figures were released. Could one hope for Donald and Daisy next? :)

I fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it in the store. I had to have it. It brings me happiness. I’m a big fan of Minnie and Mickey. Definitely recommend it.

Fun set

I thought this was a fun and adorable set. All around super cute display piece from Mickey and Minnie themselves to the sweet stands they rest on. After reading the other reviews, I would encourage people to retrace their steps if things are popping up/not sitting right, or there are supposed missing pieces. I've bought a crazy amount of LEGOs over the years and always found if things don't sit right, I didn't do something right. If I'm missing a piece, it's because my eyes missed something and it's mistakenly somewhere else. I love that LEGO has pouches for each step so you only have to retrace in that step. I had to do it a couple times with this set, but figured it out by taking a closer look. I will say, it was incredibly annoying the manual was on black background....made it terribly hard seeing the black and dark blue pieces on the paper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cute set

Since I am a Disney fan, I got this set for my birthday. I had a great time building it, but I took 1 star off because the wrong piece. The Mickey’s glove piece was wrong on one hand. Also small piece in Minnie’s body was missing, so I had to replace with something else. Overall, it’s a nice set to get for a Disney fan

Very cute but...

I walked into the Lego store at Disney Springs just to window shop and the store had this set on display. I've never built anything with Lego's before and the price really caught me off guard. With that said I thought it was so cute I went ahead and purchased. My issue with this set (besides the high price) was bag 2 was missing pieces. It was easy to order replacement parts online however disappointing that I had to stop building and wait a couple weeks.
The directions were easy to follow and as soon as the missing pieces arrived I was able to complete the set. Will buy more sets in the future.
