FUN AND CHALLENGING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and nephew love Legos and love putting them together. One is 9 years old and the other is a 11 years old and they were able to get this done in about four hours. The instruction booklet was easy to follow. The different sections of this plane were separated in individual numbered bags so it was easy for them to stay organized and not lose pieces. They loved that there were so many pieces and how challenging it was. The pieces are very small so I would definitely recommend this for an older child.
They loved that this plane actually has a shooting function. They do shoot out pretty fast so make sure your child doesn't shoot it at anyone. They also really like all the little action figures that were included. This is definitely a great activity for kids and will keep them busy for hours. If your child loves legos and wants a challenge I highly recommend this product.

Bigger, Bulkier, Better, but not that different

The build is very solid for the size. It also proves to be a very straight forward set with what you it. The handle is a great inclusion, but I do feel it could be longer for some people. The shooting function works great and is very unique. But probably the best part of the build is the new Canopy piece, which looks awesome. The side build is a good inclusion, but I feel it could be left out and nothing would change. The minifigures are good enough. Golden Kai is a major draw to the set, and he's a great figure. Although the other figures do come in other sets, they are good inclusions. The value on this set is about expected. One thing that can be a bit of an issue is that it's not that different when compared to the original, but that's not that bad of an issue to me. Overall, It's a solid improvement, but it's not much different from the original. While some more newer additions would be nice, they aren't necessary.

Got it for a different reason

I mainly purchased this set because of the golden minifigure which I really like. The shooting mechanism works well, but it usually fires multiple at a time which makes finding the pieces hard afterwards unless you shoot it in a secured area. I think someone younger than me would enjoy this set even more than I did. Overall I like the minifigures, build is cool, and the value is good.

My mom got this lego set for me for Christmas and I loved it! I built it in just under two hours. The technique was amazing I loved the side build it was just amazing! There was nothing bad I love the shooting part.

It does come with a lot of pieces but the way they were divided made it easy to figure out. Great project to keep them busy for an hour or two.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a great time putting this together! It was pretty challenging but we enjoyed it. It looks amazing and my kids enjoyed doing it as a family. They are so proud of themselves and kept them busy for hours. They are now asking for more. They want to try a different creation.

Another Awesome Ninjago Lego Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego Ninjago Boulder Blaster is really cool. The design is different then the other Lego sets our family has, which made it even more exciting once it was put together. My son also loves the Lego Characters. This set comes with 4. Lego is such a quality product that is a household favorite for us. We were very impressed with the design on this boulder blaster. The cannon in front is very well made. I love the way it spins in the front and also spins the other parts. The engineering on the trigger and the shooting mechanism is really well designed. It shoots pretty far too. I would highly recommend this set to others.

Great set to play !!!

I got this for my 6 year old son. It was challenging for him to built it but he managed. The plane is quite large and bulky, but it has great details including some nice sticker additions. The shooter is amazing and we played with it hours shooting on different lego targets and the box :) The prison is a simple built but it is also playable. When you pull the top the ladder drops and you can free the captured ninja. Alternatively, you can shoot it with the plane and open the the gate !!! This set also comes with 4 minifigures. I think the amount of stuff you get justifies the price.
