Beautiful Design

This is a great set. Excellent design with really fun details. I love the finished product. The roof is beautiful and it looks gorgeous on display. It's a perfect finished size. Not small, but not overly large. I had a great time building this set. I'm an adult and build for display, but I constantly find myself walking by this set and kind of "playing" with it... rearranging mini figs, etc. If I were a kid, I think I'd have a blast playing with this set.

Beautiful build. Very detailed and sturdy. Mini figures are also very detailed and some pieces are printed, no decals. Light brick is brilliantly used.

Perfect Set

This is one of the best sets I have ever purchased. I have been collecting LEGO since I was a little guy. The detail, look, and feel of this set are superior. The only major complaint I have is that the figures can't be comfortably fit through the doors of the shop. Other than that, a phenomenal set.

Best Set I've Built

This is one of the best sets I've ever built. It is also cool that the older knight looks like Mr. Sam Elliot. I can't wait for Lego to come out with more in this series. It's not a long build, but the roof gets challenging and just sort of sits there as does the upper window. That took a bit of time to figure out how it went, but I liked the challenge.

Great to play with a preschooler!

GREAT build! This house was purchased for me, but of course my little (4yo) and I LOVE it. I gently placed the tree on a shelf because we would bump it and it would come down (sort of disappointed that it wasn't sturdier) AND my other gripe due to his little fingers is the chair backs ALWAYS fall apart and then get lost underneath the table and we have to turn the whole thing over and shake it out. Now I get that this is an Ideas build and not exactly a toy build, so these are minor gripes and not at all something I care about personally as a hobbyist builder. I love this build so much that I am hungrily awaiting more medieval products! My son and I LOVE that all the levels come apart and we have created a little town with each level as another building. It's perfect and brilliant and amazing and I want MORE!!!!

Phenomenal set!

I love it. I only recently (the last year or so) got back into a LEGO hobby after a long hiatus—I had thought I had "outgrown" LEGO, more fool me! When I was a kid, I used to love and treasure the castle sets, and they really fueled a big part of my continuing love for medieval history. When this set came out, I knew I needed it. I put in a request with family for my birthday, then Hannukah, and still no LEGO set, so I finally just bought it for myself, and it was worth. Every. Penny. The intricacy of the build was at just the right level for me to always feel intrigued and never bored. The build was also ordered in such a way that I could see the details gradually coming together, constantly whetting my excitement for more. The levels of detail both internally and externally are beyond what I could have hoped for (I'm particularly partial to the rug on the uppermost floor!). It took me probably 8-10 hours spread over the course of the week to fully assemble, a good, satisfying amount of time for the money spent. Ever since, this build has been sitting in its designated area on my desk, tempting me to create stories and adventures for the characters it contains. I have repeatedly rearranged the figures in different poses and areas, continually marveling at the range of possibilities this piece affords. I really love it, and I would be so delighted if this were the first in a line of Medieval builds targeted at adults.

I saw the set and immediately fell in love with it and it came really quick, although it is kind of pricey but it makes up for it with the detail down to the small things like milk like pieces in the butter churner
