Wish it were easier to see inside
on November 18, 2021

I just want to put out there that no one plays with my Lego sets; they are build-and-display only so I can't vouch for play-ability (no kids, only adults here). That said, I really enjoyed building this set. I was attracted to it because of the lovely color scheme, and as it progressed room by room there are lots of wonderful little details. Once the whole thing is assembled, most of those details are hidden inside and can't be admired unless the level above it is removed. So sitting on display, while a beautiful building, the most charming parts of it are secreted away. I would have liked there to be more/larger windows so that all the carefully crafted details of the interior could be more easily admired. The stonework is nicely done, the kitchen garden is a nice touch, and light-up forge is a lot of fun. I typically leave my sets assembled for a couple of months, then disassemble and re-bag them to rotate in something new to best use my small space. I do look forward to building it again!

Medieval Blacksmith Review
on July 10, 2023

At first I though the cleaner, brighter colors of the revised build from the original submission was not good. After displaying for a while I have gotten used to it and I like it fine. I think the cart is a nice addition. I also like the tree included to add some landscaping. The different levels of the house are have a neat design. But man, how come no flames in the kiln?

Favorite Build So Far!
on October 22, 2021
Posted by: BrendotheBuilder
This holds my top spot for most rewarding and enjoyable build so far (30-35 builds).
I love the scale, I love the style of architecture, all the little details are beautiful. There's so much character jammed into this one.
I have my top 4 builds on on display at my office and this one gets the most attention (Tree House runner up).
If I had to pick my favorite aspect of this build, it would be the layered shingles. Super neat.
Top 4 Builds:
1. Medieval Blacksmith 21325
2. Medieval Castle 31120
3. Pirates of Barracuda Bay 21322
4. Tree House 21318

My first large set
on October 26, 2021
Posted by: SkillfulSocks037
This was one of the first sets I purchased after discovering Lego. It was my first big build and my first modular construction. The Tudor details and the roof were fun to build. I hope there will be more sets to coordinate with this one as it would be fun to have a Medieval village. I was unsure how difficult it would be to tackle a larger set, but the detailed instructions were easy to follow. The only difficulty I had was the "exploding" tree. There was one wedge-shaped piece that did not want to connect into place. Every time I got a few more steps through the process, the tree would "explode" and I'd throw my arms over it to keep parts from flying off my worktable. After many attempts, I finally got past that step. Needless to say, I have been hesitant to adjust the leaves on the tree too much for fear that the wedge-shaped piece will cause the tree to "explode" again. This set has so many lovely details - the horse, the minifigures, and the light brick in the forge, for example.

Possibly the best Lego set ever
on December 28, 2021
Posted by: WorstGrumpyWorriz
My 12 year old son loves all things medieval, and asked for this set for Christmas. Our family builds a lot of Lego, and the experience of building this with my son was the best build experience with Lego we have had. We certainly don't have every Lego in existence, but we do have hundreds of sets and this is the highlight of them all!!

Great set!

Great set! Displays nice with great detail. We need more medieval LEGO! The only issue, and I've had a few sets like this, was that it was missing a piece from bag 6. Not a huge deal but it always seems to be that a part is missing from the the bigger sets. All that said, I love LEGO and can't wait to see what's next!

Was Great but...
on June 15, 2022

The first floor was amazing and a joy to put together. On the second floor was when the trouble started to seep in. The finishing touches for the walls were missing a few pieces. The third floor was the worst, missing many pieces for the first bag of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
