One of the best sets I have ever bought for myself (and I’ve bought hundreds!). Absolutely charming. Where I live lichen only grows on one side of the house, so I modified the roof to reflect that, but otherwise this set is perfect! Highly recommended…

A proper return to medieval times

I had a blast building the Medieval Blacksmith. The advanced building techniques will please AFOL's and the play features will stimulate the imaginations of children. The designers put so much thought and care into crafting this set and it shows. As a Castle fan from the 80's, this set has everything I wanted and more. I love the tree trunk and branches. If I were to give one minor negative about the set, I'd say that I don't love the tree leaves simply because it looks a little sparse from some angles. As far as the range of pieces you get, they're perfect for building so many variations of cottages for your medieval village. I cannot wait to take it apart and rebuild something else or a few buildings out of it. Maybe some AFOLs out there will combine 2 of these sets and build a castle. Either way, thank you LEGO for bringing back Castle, even if it is an Ideas set. Heres to hoping more Castle sets like this get made in the coming years. Cheers!!

The sections are well done,they come apart and fit back together well. The LED brick just adds that special touch and makes it magical. The details were definitely my favorite part of this build. I built this with my partner and it took us about 10 hours ( jobs and such)
