Great set

As a collector of lego sets, I knew I needed this one. I was really excited to see LEGO releasing a medieval set again. This set is very well made and just challenging enough to make it fun to put together. The details were quite awesome and the removable layers makes it easy to access the floors. Overall an amazing building set

Great Family Build

The build techniques for this model are great. There is a great use of space and character and much of the design can be used in other creations for a rustic look or ancient architecture.
I love these non-licensed models where you get more for your money, more pieces, and grander designs.
I built it with my toddler who was excited about the figures and their weapons. He was able to build from the directions for most of the model and only some of the finishing decorations he needed some help.
The style of directions is a huge improvement. The designers have found a great balance and the yellow highlights help with identifying the correct positioning. The colors are improved so that the directions more closely match the color of the bricks themselves.
My toddler was engrossed in playing with the bottom smithy level and had lots of questions about how the finished model would work. His interest was sparked so much that we watched several black and sword smithing documentaries for both modern and ancient methods. For this reason alone, the model was a complete success.
This was an instant classic and I look forward to more of the same, either in sets or making my own.

To start off I’m sure it’s a great set. My son and myself love the looks of it so I ordered it up for a surprise birthday gift for him. I was very excited to give it to him on his birthday,it was yesterday 3/21/21, ordered on 3/10/21. It still has yet to arrive. While I’m not upset with the purchase, as said I’m sure it’s great! I’m just very disappointed in the delivery so far.

Everything I Expected and More

When I was younger, I used to love Lego castle-themed sets more than any other (I also grew up poor so I very often had to make do with my own pieces and pictures from the catalog lol). This set immediately caught my eye and I knew that I had to have it. Not only is it visually unique from any other set that I’ve seen, but there are so many little details and things added that bring life to it. I had actual fun building it, and as it came together I could really imagine the mini figures living and working in it. Despite that, I could really tell that this is a set tailored to a more experienced audience. It took me a little longer to build than I expected it to, so that was also a plus. Listen to me, people at Lego: if more sets are produced that are akin to this one, I will buy every single one.

One of my favorite sets

This set is fantastic, mostly because of the level of detail and accessories that come with it.
Also love that it's fairly solidly designed but you can still easily separate the three stories for play/staging.
If Lego puts out more sets like these, they'll be instant buys for me.

Very nice building with a misprint

The building is very detailed from the workshop on the bottom level all the way up to the shingles. I really like the black falcon figures, blacksmith, and hunter. The horse is a nice color but unfortunately the printing was off.
