Fun and detailed build!

This is one of the first sets I’ve built since getting back into Lego building and what a set to build! The price point is good for the amount of detail you get out of this set. The inside of the shop is detailed and makes the shop feel real and immersive. It’s not just pretty and detailed from the outside. The minifigures are great and can be situated in a variety of places on the build. The colour scheme, environment, details and intricacy of this build makes it fun and a must have! I love to feel immersed in my build when I’m putting it together and this did that. :-)
I just want to put out there that no one plays with my Lego sets; they are build-and-display only so I can't vouch for play-ability (no kids, only adults here). That said, I really enjoyed building this set. I was attracted to it because of the lovely color scheme, and as it progressed room by room there are lots of wonderful little details. Once the whole thing is assembled, most of those details are hidden inside and can't be admired unless the level above it is removed. So sitting on display, while a beautiful building, the most charming parts of it are secreted away. I would have liked there to be more/larger windows so that all the carefully crafted details of the interior could be more easily admired. The stonework is nicely done, the kitchen garden is a nice touch, and light-up forge is a lot of fun. I typically leave my sets assembled for a couple of months, then disassemble and re-bag them to rotate in something new to best use my small space. I do look forward to building it again!
I haven't had a set for myself in a long time. I've always been a fan of medieval themes, and i missed them dearly. Just by looking at this set i was immediately hooked. ordered it, and was not disappointed. Every phase was a pleasant thrill to assemble. such a rewarding build! took my time, absorbed every brick clicking together. the amount of details in this set is wonderful. the passion of the designer/s is felt all along the way. so many seemingly small aspects here got a whole lot of love and attention. I could feel myself being drawn in s i built it, imagining what it would be like to be there in person. i had a magical time building this, it would make an awesome piece to display and explore. If you feel you wanna buy this too - do not hesitate. 110% fun and satisfaction guaranteed.

Sounds like you had the bricktastic experience we want all our fans to have. Thanks for sharing it with us. It makes us so happy knowing you enjoyed all the little details. Have fun displaying this medieval masterpiece!
First, this set is a bit more advanced than I expected. Lots of out there concepts that I had to double check. Pros: Awesome overall look, fun (if advanced) build techniques, sizeable, well thought out inside and out. Cons: Wish they'd make some more of this theme. It's a shame that it's all alone.
This was one of the first sets I purchased after discovering Lego. It was my first big build and my first modular construction. The Tudor details and the roof were fun to build. I hope there will be more sets to coordinate with this one as it would be fun to have a Medieval village. I was unsure how difficult it would be to tackle a larger set, but the detailed instructions were easy to follow. The only difficulty I had was the "exploding" tree. There was one wedge-shaped piece that did not want to connect into place. Every time I got a few more steps through the process, the tree would "explode" and I'd throw my arms over it to keep parts from flying off my worktable. After many attempts, I finally got past that step. Needless to say, I have been hesitant to adjust the leaves on the tree too much for fear that the wedge-shaped piece will cause the tree to "explode" again. This set has so many lovely details - the horse, the minifigures, and the light brick in the forge, for example.
Until about a year ago I never had any quality issues with LEGO sets. But since they have been growing at a rapid pace since the start of the pandemic, quality issues keep coming up. In this phenomenal LEGO Ideas set, I didn't make it through bag 8. There are so many pieces missing (and replaced with wrong ones) that it is impossible to complete the set. In the past when I requested missing pieces it took usually 2-4 weeks to get the missing bricks, if I ever got them. In two cases my request for replacement parts were just cancelled and it took over 8 weeks to get the missing pieces. It's quite sad to see those quality issues not being resolved. In my latest order I bought four sets and I feel like the other sets will probably disappoint as well. The fun has been taken out of the LEGO box, all LEGO boxes, unfortunately.
