Fun but wish for more

The dragon in the movie was so awe inspiring and grand. I could tell from the box this wasn’t going to be the dragon i want to build but bought it for the mini figs. In the end however i found it to be a Fun build but the dragon was still kinda a letdown. i would have easily paid 4x for a nice large beefy dragon like in the movie. Either way though i was happy building it and did enjoy myself. And i was Happy with the mini figs too.
I recommend it for people who want the mini figs and a quick 2-4 hr build.

My kids and I actually worked together and we built this Battle at the Ancient Village and we were in character mode. Legos helps kids to be creative and explore their mind. So many possibilities that can be built.

Great build but come one lego!

The ancient dragon is very iconic and is a great build. I feel like this build will not be recreated in the MCU sets but the figures are my issue. The figures torsos are all great. The legs are also very great. The issues is the figures faces. Death dealer is fine but Shang chi is the worst one by far. Seriously, why would you put the same face you used for happy hogan, which is inaccurate in the first place to him. The face for the Mandarin is awful and it has been used on Lex Luther, Super Man, Loki, and several others, in and out of the MCU. And the Katy minifigure is kinda good but the face isn’t terrible. Lego needs to make more Asian accurate face prints and not stick with the same old basic face prints. 9/10 on the build and 6/10 on the figures only because the torsos are great and the death dealer is amazing.

Cool looking lego

When we got this one she was so excited because it was different than any of the other ones we have built before. The dragon was so cool looking once built. The colors are beautiful and really make the look even better. It was not a hard build it just took her a an hour or so. I highly recommend!

Fun Lego Adventure with Shang-Chi

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun LEGO adventure set with Shang-Chi and the Battle at the Ancient Village. My 9 year old son enjoyed building and playing with this, especially the Dragon. Comes with 4 mini-figures including Shang-Chi, Wenwu, Xialing, and Death Dealer along with Morris and the Dragon. Another fun Marvel set.

Super Cool Build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love Legos and this set was no exception. My 11 year old was able to put this together with his little brother within about an hour and once they had it put together they had hours of fun with it. Plus the dragon is very cool.

He really loves dragons and when he saw the red and white dragon on the front of the box he got really excited and went and opened the box and he instantly fell in love with the dragon in the box and also I n the box came with a couple mini figures for him to play with also. I really like this lego set because it has my sons favorite creature and it has others for him to play with as well plus it keeps him busy and entertained for hours.

Great Looking Lego

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received the item for my son. He is a huge Marvel and Lego fan. He has multiple Marvel Lego collections and Ninjago dragons. This set is one of his favorites, he loves how it can spin and twist and turn around. Colors are beautiful, white, maroon and some blue makes it stand out. He is very please with the based that makes it easier to care for and display. In terms of difficulty, my 9 year old son spent about 30 minutes on putting it together. It doesn’t seem to be too difficult for him. The only downside would be a piece underneath the dragon when you take it off the base, it makes it difficult to stand flat. Overall, a great set for any Lego fan.
