I make rice a lot, love to make our in batches and freeze for later. A rice cooker is a must for me. I've not had the chance to try all functions yet just sweet/sushi rice and it comes out nice and holds together, easy to pick up with fork or chopsticks. It freezes well and retains texture after defrosting.

I shouldn't be surprised but I never had a rice cooker before so I had no expectations. Was still thorougly surprised how tasty the rice came out flavor and texture wise. I want to try long grain or brown rice next. I have faith in the quality of rice it makes just hope it lasts!

I have always loved the brand Zojirushi. I visited Japan many years ago and it all began with their thermos and I have to say, I have not been disappointed by their product. Quality is in point and if you care for it, it will last you a lifetime. I purchased this along with a water boiler and warmer, I have nothing but praises for both items purchased.

This rice cooker makes perfect rice, every time.
Following the included instructions, you will always get perfectly cooked, tender rice, every time. The non-stick coating makes cleanup basically a matter of letting it cool off and then wiping the leftover starch out.
I have not had a chance to use the other settings such as congee and oatmeal, but I can only expect excellent performance.
I wholeheartedly recommend this rice cooker.
