I was one of those two-in-one body and shampoo gel users but I really wanted to try a big a** bar of soap. If I were to do that then I also needed a shampoo. Then I landed on the puck of shampoo. What hooked me was the 175 washes. So, I tried it and was not disappointed. Just a couple of rubs in the hair and lathers up nicely and rinses out well. I'm not going to count the number of washes I get out of this thing but I know it will last a while. I will definitely buy more of these... In fact, I think I am more into this than the bar of soap.
Update: LOL! I got a Profanity flag in this review for saying " Big A** bar of soap."

I’m used to shampoo bars from other companies but I wanted to try the duke one because of how long they say they last. At the current rate I definitely won’t get the advertised amount of showers out of it but That’s okay. I like that it came with the tin (but that you really use it because it needs to dry, but still). Honestly my biggest beef if that it’s drying. I can feel right after I use it that my hair is dryer that it was before I used it. I use a super moisturizing conditioner so it’s no big deal but it is odd to actually feel it. That’s my only real gripe is the drying my hair.

Wonderful! Bought this product to convince my 11 year old son that shower gels and hair shampoo in plastic bottles are completely not cool, and that plastic free is totally cool. He was excited from the get go, and now we both love it. Produces good lather, smells great, cleans well. What else do you want?

Pros: It lathers well and is very portable if you're someone who travels a lot. The mint scent is amazing.
Cons: It dried out my hair after two uses. I had to stop using it since I have curly hair that needs a lot of moisture. Gave the puck to my girlfriend who has straight hair, and she said the ssme thing.

The mint scent is pretty subtle, but the puck lathers VERY well! In fact, I may buy one just to use as shaving soap, the lather's that luxurious! I do wish the scent was a bit stronger, though.
