My Favorite Facial Cleanser!

As someone with oily skin, I really love this product! Despite having much more expensive brands in my drawer, I find myself reaching for the Coal Miner cleanser more than any other. I see some reports about it being watery—I do not find it that way at all, as I just opened my 3rd tube of it yesterday. Perhaps they either had a bad batch about a year ago, or they read the reviews and I proved it. In any case, I love it, I recommend it and will continue to buy it!

Happy with this product. It doesn't seem to have any extra fragrance added and that seems important for my face as I can break out too easily. I believe the scent is the kaolin clay, which is nice. I use 3 different face washes over the course of a week and I think this one is the best.
I've seen people saying that it is too watery. I haven't had that issue with it because I shake it well before using and it seems to stick well to my fingers before applying to my face. Maybe the packaging should say to shake it, as other DC packaging does where it's necessary. I don't personally want a high viscosity face wash because I feel like it would clog my pores.

Love the packaging, this instantly grabbed my attention on the site (very masculine). Has a good consistency to it and just a little dollop does the trick each wash. Had read kaolin clay was a great & natural way to cleanse your face and was anxious to try this SKU for that reason. My only complaint is that because it's more liquid-based it tends to leak out into the cap when you set it down, and that the cap itself is hard to snap back on.

As someone with oily skin, I am always on the lookout for a good product. This product is good at cleaning my skin but I would like to see some changes. First of all, the batch I received seems very liquid and not the best for a squeeze tube. It would be better for a pump style dispenser. As it is, I store the tube lid up to prevent the cleanser from slowly leaking out. Second, the fragrance is a bit overwhelming for me so I’ve taken to using very small amounts which does the job. My wife likes the fragrance so you have a positive vote on that.

I like a face wash that foams up a bit more.That being said Coal Miner does leave your face feeling clean. With a good scent and some grit in there to help exfoliate, Coal Miner is a good choice for cleaning up after a day's work or getting ready for a night on the town!

The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because of the consistency. It's fairly runny and doesn't lather up good on my face. As far as the product goes, it's a really good face soap. I just wish it was thicker.
