What the puck?

I never heard of a shampoo puck until a friend of mine recommended Duke Cannon. I thought "that's different, what the heck, I give it a shot". I'm still not sure if I'm using it right. It's kind of hard to get the puck out of the tin, it wants to kind of stick in there after the first use, so I just open the lid, give my hair and beard a good rub with the semi exposed puck, it suds right up, and put the lid back on. So I guess I put it away wet. About once a week a put it on the counter with the lid open to dry it out, but I don't even know if that is necessary. This is the second scent I've tried. The mint one smells like mint. This one is named barrel char, but that doesn't describe the scent. This one is very hard to describe the smell. Kind of like black licorice with some sort of floral mixed in. The label says it has cedarwood bark oil in it but I'm not sure if I can distinguish cedarwood as part of the scent profile. It smells kind of weird but I like it. Different. Better than anything you can buy at Walmart.

i recently died my hair and because of its natural ingredients it barely stripped any color and still left me feeling fresh. i would still recommend getting a colored conditioner to maintain color long term. great product.
