The scent and texture are better than the other pomades. However, the formula is too water soluble. So when I perspire the pomade will thin and work it's way to my scalp, causing irritation. I really miss Forming Cream. It had great hold and longevity, and I only needed a nickel size amount. It also had less (if and) fragrance which was better for my sensitive skin. I tried the other pomades but had bad skin reactions. Off to find another brand.

This is good stuff for short hair: nice hold, doesn’t make your hair feel “crunchy” and smells nice. If you have a little longer hair, say over 1” then you really have to work it in for it to hold.
