1. I'm not used to solid cologne. So this was an experiment for me.
2. I've not worn cologne in a long time since my favorite fragrance was discontinued and impossible to find.
3. I was expecting more fragrance at first and at length. I felt like I needed to put it on like deodorant in order to get any effect. Plus my deodorant seemed to be fighting with it. I must have been applying it incorrectly.
4. I'm not sure that I will get any more of it but I wouldn't not recommend it to someone familiar with its use.

The smell is nice but not quite what i was looking for. I was imagining more of a leather boot/wallet kind of smell but its more of a fancy leather dress shoe smell. Hard to explain but those types of leather have a totally different smell.
I wish it lasted longer though.

Excellent product. You learn how much to apply for the projection and longevity you want. Can last all day, but not overbearing in my opinion. Doesn’t smell exactly like the soap, but it is really close. Be great if they made this as a spray cologne too. Duke Cannon is really good quality stuff!
