I was not a fan of this scent when I first opened the container. It has an odd, sweet smell. As I had already had this experience before with the Birchwood cologne, I knew to give it a try for a bit before writing it off. It has certainly grown on me, although I will say it's probably my least favourite of Duke colognes I've tried. Personally I don't really pick up any of the individual notes, it's just an eccentric but masculine smell. Still 5 stars because not everyone is gonna love every scent, and I can still tell the quality of the product is good. As an aside, it's probably the longest lasting of the solid colognes in my collection.

The best scent hands down!

This is the best scent Duke Cannon makes however the scent could be a little stronger but it does last a hour or two before the tobacco and wood scent disappears and leaves behind a vanilla scent...not that it's bad you just need to reapply every couple of hours. I do wish they'd make a beard balm and beard oil in this scent.

This has a hint of what I call vanilla but tobacco leaf and leather are the key smells. GREAT SMELL!! If your a fan of the THICK liquid soap “Old Glory and Leaf and leather BABOS” this is a definite a must!!
