Sorry to have to give this one a not so good review. When I applied it, I thought it smelled like a fresh cigar. I read the label and saw Leaf. Well, it smells like it is supposed to. Being a non-smoker, it just didn't smell good to me. However, some may love it. It does NOT smell bad, just "leafy" as it is meant to be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was luck enough to be one of the first to get my hands on this hot commodity. My first venture into solid cologne of any type, and I'm glad I went with this one. It smells SO GOOD. I pick up several notes, including the leaf and leather it advertises, but my daughter, wife and I also detect tropical hints, perhaps pineapple and coconut. I put in on, and all of the sudden, everyone around me wants a pina colada. Anyway, the scent is lighter than the subsequent ones I've purchased like Budweiser/Cedarwood and Buffalo Trace/Oak Barrel, so, for me, I mostly use at night before climbing into bed. I swear, it's making me sleep better! I wake up and still detect a faint hint of it, but if I wear during the day, it lasts 4-5 hours, or if I'm sweating a lot, 2-3 hours. Regardless, you need this in your life. I can't promise you pina coladas, but I do promise you'll smell better.
