I discovered the existence of solid colognes a few weeks ago. As soon as I saw the concept I had a feeling it was right up my alley. I picked up the Naval Supremacy scent last week and not only do I love the smell, it's pretty much exactly what I had in mind. Some fragrances are designed to add a whole new layer of scent to you, this one just makes it smell like you are very clean and fresh. The citrus off the top is great, and as it mixes with my body chemistry you also get a very subtle hint of cloves.
The amount of product you get for the money is fantastic, this will last me a good while. It's perfect for travel and I take it with me wherever I go. I'm looking forward to trying some other scents, I've got Birchwood on the way as we speak (along with some Bar Soap, deodorant and body wash).
As an aside, I do some rather unpleasant jobs for a living. I had to clean a house where the previous tenant had expired and went undiscovered for nearly a month (the cat *ATE HIS FACE*). You can imagine that it was not a great odor in there. I was wearing a full face mask, but alas the smell of death was too much even then. A quick application of Naval Supremacy to my chin and the inside of my mask smelled good enough to get through the job.
Other products I've tried include the Old Milaukee soap + Tactical scrubber (awesome), and the Seneca Proper cologne (if Naval Supremacy Solid is good for the day, Seneca is a good evening aquatic.)

Bought this for my teenage son to put in his backpack for school. He has Physical Education class early in the morning so a quick dab in the tin for the solid cologne, and he smells fresh again for all the young ladies he passes in the hall.
