For starters I have a full head of thick hair, after using this shampoo my hair was so thick I couldn't put a comb through it. Unfortunately having hair stronger than steel wool was not that appealing to me, so I decided to give it to my brother who's hair is thinning. He absolutely loves this shampoo and it's apparent to everyone how much thicker his hair looks. So if you're like him and have thin hair, but this product today.

Immediately after using this shampoo, I started giving a report of its labeled ingredients/directions in a Ron Burgundy voice, while sitting in the tub. Needless to say, this startled my grandma, (who was washing my back at the time) into a wheeze inducing chortle. Anyways, the product works well to remove all other Duke Cannon products from my hair and beard, while leaving a manly cedarwood smell. It's a great daily reset for your hair, without damaging it.

Great Smell, Doesn't really Last

I bought this about a month and a half ago (April 18, its now May 27th), and I've used maybe about half, probably less, its hard to see. The smell is amazing, easily the best smelling stuff I've ever used. The only issue I have is that it doesn't really last long. Granted I can't smell my own hair so maybe its better than it seems. The real good news is that it definitely makes my hair feel healthier. It feels a bit thicker, a bit fuller, and overall sleeker than it used to. With my old shampoo it felt like my hair was thinner, not as soft or sleek as it is with this stuff. If the scent was a bit stronger, I'd easily give it 5 stars. If you're the type where you don't want strong smelling shampoo, it'll be 5 stars for you too.

I have always loved this shampoo and order it 3 to 5 bottles at a time for several years. This time, however, I have noticed the shampoo is not as thick as it has been in my previous purchases. It was noticeably "waterier." I thought perhaps that I just had one bottle that had missed the mark and checked the others. Unfortunately, they were the same. I will continue to buy this product, but it is disconcerting to have a product you love and recommend change by undercover means. If the per ounce price is not enough margin for the company...raise the price; don't change the product.
So...a sad 4 stars this time instead of 5.
