The one thing that makes this solid cologne stand out from the others is its staying power. I work in an elementary school, and after a full day of kiddos, and an hour and a half at the gym afterwards, I still smell fantastic. Speaking of which, I'm addicted to the Redwood scent. Buy without reservation.

I'm a huge fan of solid cologne. Have gone thru Aromatherapy of Rome back in late 90s and then had to move on to Soap & Paper Factory solids but it seems solids can't stand the test of time. I hope you do cuz I fricken love this product. Both scents surpassed my expectations! And the added bonus of organic ingredients and proceeds going to Veterans is stellar!

Great product! Handy container that can be reused for other items. (Fishing kit, survival kit, fire kit to name a few!). I have been looking to eliminate plastic from uses and this is a great option. This scent isn’t quite me but I am sure I’ll find the right one.

The “Land” solid cologne has a Redwood scent that smells as good as any cologne I’ve ever purchased. In fact, I have gotten the Land solid cologne once before. I enjoy it’s aroma so much that I felt the need to get a second tin. You simply rub some onto your fingers and apply it to the same areas you would if it were liquid cologne (wrists and/or neck). Definitely do not leave the solid cologne in a hot area (I.e.- in a hot car), because it WILL melt. That should be common sense but unfortunately not everyone has common sense. If you like a manly, woodsy scent then this cologne is for you. I’ve received compliments on the scent. For those of you who’ve never given solid cologne a shot, I suggest you do! I had never tried it before but the “Land” cologne is easily in my top 5 best smelling colognes (I have 7 different colognes that I rotate using).

It does smell very strongly of cloves, slight orange, slight powder (baby powdery smell). I wouldn't say it's a bad smell, it's just not what I expected. I don't think I would buy this flavor again. I was hoping for a more pine/fresh smelling cologne. It's a decent price and quality product that will last for a long time, just not sure I want to smell like this for a long time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the scent. Its somewhat reminiscent of the original Old Spice aroma that's no longer available but doesn't smell like cookies. The strength of the scent is just right ... not overpowering but its presence is subtly felt. It remains to be seen if this scent will appeal to women or if its just me who likes it. As a solid cologne, it will also be great for travel except in the summer because it won't spill in your kit but looks like it could melt in extreme heat.
