Handles burn

While these pans do not stick, the handle does burn emitting horrible toxic fumes. I read previous reviews stating this, so I was extra precautions. I am extremely disappointed in the response from customer service. They treated me as if I was stupid and to blame for their design flaw. Clearly, the metal piece extending from the pan to the handle is not long enough to prevent the handle from melting. A frying pan should be designed to handle high heat. Or perhaps you need to sell them as low-flame-only pans, which you do not. I will not purchase from you again.

If you have a gas stove do not buy

Purchased this set a few weeks ago because of the good reviews. Bad move! Used the sauce pans 2 times and the handles are burnt and a piece melted off. We used only the medium setting and pans were not centered as was recommended. These were a waste of money! Customer service told us not a manufacturing defect so sorry. Bottom line, if you have a gas stove DO NOT BUY! Would not recommend

Waiting to hear on PTFE content, if any

I bought the 12" Rio Frypan last week at my grocery store after seeing "TOXIN FREE", "FREE OF PFAS, PFOA, LEAD AND CADMIUM". It did not register with me at the time that no mention is made of it being free of PTFE (Teflon). Additionally when I came to this website I notice there is no mention of it being free of PTFE on the website, either.
I need to hear from the GreenPan. Company why there is no mention of these pans being PTFE (Teflon) FREE on the information that comes with the pan or on the website. The pan information says "The Original Greenpan". Is this the first pan the GreenPan company made when PTFEs (Teflon) might have been considered to be safe? Anyway, won't be using until I hear from the company about the PTFE / Teflon issue, and can't give it a better rating than 1 at this point, and the 1 is for this pan's beautiful aqua color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a pretty decent quality and so far has worked really well! Heats/cooks food evenly! I find it to be a bit healthier to use these while cooking as I don’t find myself using much oil at all! Haven’t had any issues with food sticking at all. The only downside I can say about this set is that all the pots/pans are on the smaller side. So if you have a larger family you may find yourself using multiple pans to get the cooking done quicker. Other than that I think it’s a great quality and works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is extremely versatile. Really amazing. If for whatever reason you do not want to have multiple pots and pans and prefer to own just one - please, seriously consider this pan.
Because it is large, and deep, and has a top, you can use multiple cooking techniques and always achieve great results. In this pan you can fry, deep fry, stew, steam and even in a pinch make soup; it is also perfect for risotto and pasta.
Two handles make this pan easy to lift and move, even when full. The non-sick surface is truly non-stick and this is my first time cooking on ceramics.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second time I have purchased these pans but in a great way! I originally just bought one pan, but we use it so much I went back and bought the whole set! The silicone grips are so nice so you don't have to grab pot holders to move the pan. These pans are oven safe up to 850 degrees and perfect for an electric stove top. Would not recommend on a gas range. Be careful to not use metal or spray oils. Actually that's what I love the best about these pans. You never need to use much of anything to oil the pan. They are the easiest pans to clean! Remember medium heat is recommended when using these pans! You'll love them!

Everything sticks to it

Everything sticks to it- you can't fry an egg without using a quarter stick of butter. somewhat obviously since it's white and everything sticks to it, gets extremely dirty and doesnt come out (because it is not actually non-stick). I called to complain and it's funny that they had actually had a step 3 process for how to clean the pans including using a Magic Eraser (is a great product) but if you have such a detailed method for cleaning the pans, then probably not great pans!! I guess why they're always offering sales because they can never sell them full price!

Love the size and color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I love the bright turquoise color of this pan - it makes cooking all the more fun! The size is perfect too - I am able to fry 6 gigantic burgers at the same time, without making dish washing too cumbersome. The nonstick part has been holding up very well for the short time I've been using this pan (although I have been using it pretty much every day!). It cleans up really easily every time. The pan is nice and heavy and heats up well and evenly over my ancient burners.
Only negative: Their quality assurance leaves something to be desired; when I unpacked this pan I noticed something rattling inside the "helper" handle. After I unscrewed it, I found a small ceramic bit about 1 inch long that had broken off and fallen inside. Not a huge deal since it's not even the main handle, but a bit annoying.
