Can't hold up to moderate heat and hard to clean

I purchased the "Rio Ceramic Non-Stick 16-Piece Cookware Set, Turquoise" about a month ago and I'm very disappointed. First, they're definitely not non-stick and oil is required if you want to cook at even medium heat and not have the food burn and stain the pan. Also, I need to position the pan precisely so the flame doesn't even come close to the beginning of the handle stemming from the main part of the pan, otherwise it burns and creates fumes and a nasty burnt plastic type smell. It's very sensitive. The attached pic is a Green Pan after medium heat, a long soak, a hard scrub, dishwasher, a long soak, and a hard scrub. Ridiculous. The wooden utensils that come with the set are cheaply made and splinter and stain easily. I threw them out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything has cooked smoothly. My only complaint is the outside of the pan on the bottom- and a bit up the sides, isn’t able to be scrubbed clean. Looks ugly. Any recommendations?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful looking cookware set which is also fully functional. Every possible stove top cooking scenario appears to have been covered in this set which includes a casserole pan, frying pans, saucepans, a saute pan, a steamer insert, plus other implements with clear lids included for most of the pans. I have found the steamer insert to be particularly useful, and I have been using it on an almost daily basis to cook vegetables.
I am very happy that the non-stick ceramic coating is free of harmful substances making for a far more healthy cooking experience. The set is aesthetically pleasing and complements my kitchen appliances. I like the large knobs situated on the clear lids because they are easier to grip and therefore I find them safer. The same is true of the Bakelite pan handles which instill confidence from a safety viewpoint.
The manufacturer claims that the cookware is dishwasher safe, but I am unable to confirm that because I always wash my pans by hand which only takes a few minutes.
I doubt that I will need to buy pans again for many years because the quality of this set is outstanding, and there is a type or size of pan for every eventuality. I am beyond pleased and would highly recommend if you are in the market for a new set.

This is a frying pan you cannot fry in. It gets ruined when you get it too hot but it’s very difficult to know how high is too high. I bought three pans and frankly wish I never did

My husband purchased this item for me and after two uses everything I cooked, was sticking to the pan. As per the Care and Instructions medium heat should be used for long last. However, mines was used exactly how it was instructed and the pan turned like this. As per the company this has no warranty because high heat causes this. You will be wasting your money so do not buy!
