[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finished installing my Frigidaire 10,000 BTU room air conditioner in the window of what used to be a 2 car garage that we enclosed to make what we refer to as the "Playroom" which now houses TV, video games, computers, work table and crafts table. The AC is working great cools down the 350 SQ FT area very nicely. Installation was not hard but I do recommend you have a helper...nice to have someone on outside and someone on inside during the installation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went from my living room being a sauna to it being a walk-in freezer almost. The multiple functions makes it great to use when it is cooler outside. I can use the fan instead of the AC to cool the place. The different modes basically let me control how much electricity I'm using. The only bad thing I can say is when Eco mode is on sometimes it will let the room get a little to warm before it kicks back on again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great air conditioner, installation was like 30-40mins for a 1 person job. Pretty powerful for a 450 sq room. It's loud as expected but not annoying loud. Unexpectedly heavy at 70lbs and bigger than most air conditioners in size i think. Only had it for 2 weeks so far so we'll see how long it holds up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works great, Has so many functions the typical AC doesn't have. This baby really puts out the cold. I like the economy feature. saves 30 to 40% for us. It doesn't clunk or shake the entire wall when it turns on or off like so many do. It was assembled with quality parts and much thought ahead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is quieter than my old Frigidaire ac was. However it does not seem to get a cold.
It is more complicated to operate. I personally do not like how the eco mode works compared
to my old one. It seems they all work that same now. This unit doe not drain water even when installed at the proper angle. This undoubtedly could cause a mold issue if steps not taken to clear the condensate. I have taken my blower and used it to blow the water out.

We do not recommend using a blower to remove any water, as it can cause your air conditioner to over heat.
The water from the air conditioner actually evaporates. When the water builds up, it is distributed by the fan sling and thrown up against the condenser. This helps lower the air conditioner's temperature making it more efficient. If there is excessive moisture or it is very humid, your air conditioner may possibly drain from the bottom or rear.
However, for optimal performance, selecting the correct sized air conditioner for the rooms square footage is essential for efficient cooling, and larger is not always better.
