The best Unit I have come across in a 20 yrs span

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased one of these units a year ago to replace my 2 year old unit that died all of the sudden, the unit has worked immaculate since then, it has performed so well I am thinking it will last me a few more years, not as the other brand I had installed, when the year was about due, I purchased an extension on the warranty for an additional 3 years, just as a precaution as my previous units has failed badly in a short amount of time, but the I am thinking this unit will last at least 5 years with no issues and I am so happy with it that I just purchased a 2nd one to replaced another of the units I had that just failed, at this time I am thinking this will be the brand I will be sticking to to to all my window units ac, too bad It took me too long to realized this american brand was so good and for an excellent priced compare with the others. One thing I will like to see Frigidaire do, is to have these units made with the ability of chassis in and out to be able to install thru the wall, thank you Frigidaire.

A bit noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hello. My unit has a vibration in addition to the motor sound that is rather annoying. I am not sure it is a performance issue but the unit does seem like its working properly.

Verify that the original installation procedures have been followed properly. Pay special attention to any gaskets. If improperly installed, even a high quality, low-noise unit can rattle mercilessly. purchased this one now for another apartment. The filter cleaning alert light is great and the remote control makes all the settings for fan, temperature and power savings very easy.

Loved it the First Year

We bought this air conditioner last year and loved it. This year I noticed an oder coming from it, I checked the filter and it was clean but, when I looked through the vents I saw mold everywhere. The surrounding housing and the fan itself are full of mold and we don’t know how to get in there to clean it or even what to use on the styrofoam housing.
