Help please

I just purchased this AC not even a week ago. Our maintenance dept at my apartment complex installed it. First night it kept shutting down not completely lights stayed on but not working. Second night we fell water splashes in the middle of the night. It’s dripping from the bottom. But when we turn the left vent water shoots out. We just got it so I’m thinking they installed it wrong cause under my ac I clearly can see outside. Or am I wrong?

Quiet and Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for our master bedroom, the AC is about four feet from our bed. Obviously, we needed something quiet. This unit, on low fan speed, works out perfectly. The econ-mode is a nice feature as well--the AC cycles on and off throughout the night, but does not wakes us up. One minor issue was that we needed to lower the temperature setting on the remote to a couple of degrees cooler than what the actual temperature would level off at. It doesn't cool off the room very quickly--I usually run it for a few hours before going to sleep. I might have needed to buy the 12,000 btu model--the room is about 400 square feet, but the ceiling arches up to about 13 feet. It was also a very easy set up. I bought the Frost King (no drill) support bracket, which probably sped up the installation.

Powerful Unit. Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit around the start of August. We had just had a stretch of 90-100 degree weather. My other unit (5000 BTU) could not keep the temp below 80-84 degrees in this heat.
This unit is 10000 BTU and easily handled the workload that I need for a 650 sq foot railroad style apartment. The unit is a little on the louder side and the remote is a little bulky (hence the 4 stars). I like the features on the remote and it has a built in thermostat so you can tell if it’s warm or cool. It offers a 12 hour time and energy saver. Overall, this is a good, powerful unit at a reasonable price for a medium space. I would recommend it to a friend.
