Newer model of an old reliable unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased 10,000 BTU window unit a few. Weeks ago to replace our 12 year old a/c.
The newer one was improved and quiet. The price was right and we are happy with the purchase. Easy to use and smooth installation.

Cools well but noisy.

I have been using my unit for a couple weeks in hot weather. It cools pretty well but is very noisy when on. I do like the economy feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A blessing

We have a 3 bedroom house about 1,200 sg ft on one level, my 20 year main A/C died. at this present time our budget is limited ( we are in our 80s ). we took a chance and purchase this A/C, to our surprise it cooled, living,dining rooms & kitchen.at a 77degrees setting. the other rooms are comfortable. . We saved about $3,000

Does The Job Very Well!

I've had this air conditioner for several weeks now, and we've had many days with temperatures in the 90 degree range. This unit has met my expectations and then some. It's cooling an area that's about 600 square feet with no problems. We use the lower fan speed settings and find it to be pretty quiet. I especially like the temperature sensing remote.

Love the Remote Temperature Sensor Feature!

Had my handys install the AC today, through-the-wall, and it cools fabulously. Absolutely love the Remote Temperature Sensor that keeps the whole room temperature at the setting on the AC unit itself - so comfortable.

Quiet and cool!

I needed a new A/C and after reading the reviews decided on Frigidaire - I'm glad I did! The unit was easy to install, arrived on time, has numerous settings (such as economy or cool) and runs very quietly. I'd definitely purchase another in the future and highly recommend!
