Sturdy but no automated clock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in july 2016 thinking it had a timer on it. it does not. the timer it has is a one shot time to off or time to on. after that the timer stops. there is no simple turn on at 4pm and off at 7am for example. a plug timer will not work because this model does not turn on after power off. have to push the power button or send remote on. so now i have to build a bluetooth to infrared box so i can run a timer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The unit operates as advertised and blows cold air.
We have only had the unit about one month so this review is premature. Hopefully
