I bought this unit for night use ( sleeping ) and it exceeds my expectations. aid the remote is in another room, it doesn't work.

The unit is pretty quiet. We have it placed in our living room window and we can hear the TV over it, even with the fan on high. It cools the living room pretty well and pretty quickly. My only criticism of the unit is how the deflectors move air flow. They are adjustable, but it seems no matter where the deflectors are pointed, the air only wants to come straight out the front of the unit. It's difficult to get it to blow the air to the left and right to widen the outflow. But I would not let that detour anyone from buying this unit. It is very nice for the price and works very well.

Best AC

I purchase the AC about two months ago and love it. I have a huge master bedroom and it cools the whole bedroom with no problem. It has also saved me money on my electrical bill due to the low efficiency. I will recommend it to everyone who is looking for a low cost, energy saver air conditioner.

I bought the air conditioner over a month ago as we were approaching a heat wave. This unit helps cool my entire upstairs. For the price, it does a very nice job and the efficiency doesn't kill the energy bill too bad.

I bought my air conditioning unit a little over a month ago. I live in NYC and we were in the middle of a heat wave. This unit saved my life, my little dog and myself were able to sit and relax in our comfortably cool home. Thank you Frigidaire!
