No problems the first month

It has performed well since being installed just over a month ago. It cools fast and and distributes the air well. It is probably a little noisier than some would like. Experience time is too short to make a recommendation. I consider durability to be a top priority for any appliance and have had poor experiences with window air conditioners recently (these were not Frigidaire units).

Does an excellent job cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit because of its energy efficiency rating and because Frigidaire has good ratings on a/c’s overall. So happy I did my homework. It has energy savings mode, a clean air feature which removes pollen and impurities, and a number of other features.

Affordable comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this unit to replace an old one, a really old one. I live in a small but adequate 700 sq. ft. one bedroom cottage and wanted a unit that would cool the entire cottage but not break my budget as I'm a senior with limited income. I did a lot of research on different manufactures for overall quality, features, noise, appearance, ease of use, and even refrigerants used. This unit was clearly superior to the many units I researched in all categories. It's affordable, easy to install, looks nice, reasonably quiet, and cools the entire cottage easily without the use of fans to help circulate the air. Dollar for dollar, this is by far the best air conditioner in the 10,000 BTU category. I strongly recommend it.

Quality control lacking

I purchased this ac to replace a returned ac 8000 BTU Fridigaire that I purchased that was dented even though the box was not damage. They did not have any more of the 8000 BTU ac's upon returning do I had to get a more expensive model, this one. The box was not damage at all so I did not open in store prior to purchase. Well don't you know that this one was dented even worse than the first one. I'm 65 and these are not somthing that I can just put in car to return. So I'm living with a damaged unit that I paid full price for.

Powerful cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for our living room and wanted a powerful a/c as the space is pretty open to the dining, etc. Very happy we did. It works great and cools the area quickly, and the remote sensor is very convenient! A bit on the louder side but given the power of the unit we don't mind at all.

Very Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cools quickly and extremely quiet- I have to turn the TV down and really listen to be sure it's on. Remote works from a greater distance than my old A/C and you don't have to be directly in front of the unit for it to work. Price wasn't too bad either! Overall a great value for the price. If it lasts as long as my old Frigidaire I'll be very satisfied.

Great cooling / Now No cooling

Over this past weekend I tested it for the approaching summer season and it is NOT cooling. The fan is operative but the cooling component is not working. I’m very

So Far So Good
